Hi, I'm Carina, the creator of LeesMaatjies.

As a mother, educator and passionate storyteller, I believe every child deserves stories that make them feel loved, valued and confident.

That's why I created a collection of beautiful Afrikaans storybooks that help children discover the joy of reading while learning important life values.

Every story is written especially for children aged 3 to 6 years, using simple Afrikaans that is easy to understand and enjoyable to read together.
